De Minimis Exemption & Tariff Update

These policy changes are only applicable to orders placed from the United States of America.

Remedy Counter online pharmacy wants to inform all our customers that starting August 29, 2025, the U.S. government will be removing the de minimis exemption. The de minimis exemption currently allows packages under $800 to enter the country duty-free and tax-free.

According to the U.S. Customs policy under Executive Order 14324 Suspending Duty-Free De Minimis Treatment for All Countries:

  • The orders that arrive in the USA before August 29, 2025, will follow the previous de minimis exemption rule.
  • Orders that will arrive in the USA after August 29, 2025, will be subject to the new rule. These packages will be required to pay the new taxes.
